What does it take to do this job
- Minimum 7+ years of experience developing software and services using PHP, MySQL or other server-side languages, and a minimum of 3 years of experience with Alpine, Vue, or other client-side JavaScript frameworks.
- Deep understanding in application of computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms and design patterns.
- Strong understanding of systems architecture technologies including Linux, Amazon Web Services, and Docker.
- Experience in developing software on a cloud platform, preferably AWS.
- You have experience with common software engineering tools such as Git, JIRA, Confluence or similar.
- Has a solid software development foundation implementing design patterns, OOPs, and coding best practices.
- An understanding of the software development lifecycle: architecture and development, thorough testing, deployment, and monitoring of applications.
- Ownership attitude and a track-record of successful high-quality results. You identify any ambiguous requirements and provide clarity when needed..
- Bachelor’s or master's in computer science ,or a comparable field or equivalent self-study.

What will be your responsibilities
- Identify, scope and architect solutions for new features in a single system while understanding implications on adjacent systems
- Develop new features in Publishing sites that support Web and CMS platforms.
- Diagnose and fix deep technical issues
- Identify and communicate cross-team dependencies
- contribute to the overall system design, architecture, security, scalability, reliability, and performance of applications
- Write documentation and create automated tests
- Curious and eager to learn new technologies and recommend technologies that best fit the team’s needs.
