Qualifications
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Experience with at least one of the following: C++, C#, Python, Java, Ruby and object oriented design
- Knowledge of best practices including code reviews, testing, coding standards, source control (git and Github), and CI/CD
- Experience with cloud and serverless technologies
- Full stack development and experience with DevOps
- Working knowledge of containerization and infrastructure as code preferred.
- Experience communicating architecture and design of new systems, or extending existing systems
- Self-motivated with the ability to take software from ideation to production.
- Able to work independently as well as the ability to pair and collaborate with other team members

You will join a 100% remote team working in an Agile environment with a high degree of autonomy; your ability to influence technology decisions and processes within this construct will be commensurate to your ambition and demonstration of your instincts as an engineer.
Our cloud-base software solutions leverage a modern stack of tools and technology including .Net Core, AWS technologies such as SQS, Lambda, RDS and Elasticache and broad access to various development tools and platforms.
The Right Candidate Will:
- Be a self-starter with the ambition be up and running and taking on tasks within the first 30 days; demonstrate their usefulness and value to the team within the first 60 days; be contributing to overall team efficiencies and processes within 90 days
- Be passionate about exploring new technology and be able to articulate why and when it may make sense to incorporate
- Approach technology in an agnostic way; you may have preferences, but understand that you have an entire tool box, not just a hammer
- Demonstrate passion for information and an ability to turn information into insights
- Strive to communicate with your peers and colleagues clearly and concisely, using verbal, written and visual mechanisms to ensure understanding is achieved.
