- Statistical modeling and data mining concepts, and a track record of solving problems utilizing these methods
- Familiarity with cloud environments that might include: AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure. (Preferred)

We are engaged in a national search for a Junior Data Scientist. In this role, the individual will:
- Manage complex analytical projects that include healthcare related data exploration, data mining, statistical model building, and performance evaluation and testing.
- Write advanced SQL queries to collect and analyze internal and EDR data (external enterprise data) that leads to the research, manipulation, interpretation, advanced statistics, trend analysis in order to draw business inferences and clearly articulate findings for target audiences.
- Design and implement data collection systems and other methods ensuring data integrity and statistical accuracy.
- Perform complex analysis to solve multiple business problems; translate business problems into data science questions and develop solutions.
- Utilize advanced statistical techniques and mathematical analyses to research, manipulate, and interpret complex data and analyze results using predictive modeling, advanced statistics, trend analysis, and other techniques to develop reports and deploy solutions.
- Develop complex algorithms and statistical predictive models in a SAS environment and determines analytical approaches and modeling techniques to evaluate scenarios and potential future outcomes.

Work Environment
This role is 100% remote for individuals based in the U.S. Individuals must live in one of the following U.S. States: Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Virginia.
This is a Full Time Direct Employee role. Visa sponsorship is unavailable for this role and we aren’t considering consultants for this opportunity.

Pay: $88,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
