We need one to be Responsible for the administration and ongoing maintenance of the Azure DevOps platform


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Be a maturing follower of Jesus Christ; annually affirm InterVarsity’s Statement of Faith
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required
  • 5 Years of experience in Information Technology
  • Azure development operations experience is preferred; Kubernetes and Drupal experience is required
  • Strong understanding of current technologies and tools, such as cloud providers, container technology, api
  • Strong customer service and professional client-facing skills · Effective verbal and written communication with all levels of staff and management
  • Self-sufficient and have the capacity to both work alone and with a team
  • Adheres to tight project deadlines with little supervision
  • 4-6 years of experience supporting Drupal, PHP and Apache or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of content management systems
  • Experience in writing scripts to manage processes
  • Proficiency with basic concepts of a SQL-based query language
  • Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and cloud services
  • Knowledge of best practices and technology operations in an always-up, always-available service
  • Strong critical thinker with problem solving aptitude
  • Ability to travel as required

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administer and support the infrastructure InterVarsity web sites and services rely on
  • Oversee all aspects of the Drupal hosting environment
  • Responsible for the administration and ongoing maintenance of the Azure DevOps platform
  • Manage the production release process for all changes in the Drupal ecosystem, websites, custom developed apps, api, and content that are classified as high-risk changes
  • Automate the provisioning of environments as required
  • Participate in the Salesforce and Workday DevOps design, development, testing, and release of new capabilities and features with focus on release and post-production support
  • Represent production support for the suite of apps in the Salesforce and Workday stand-ups, planning sessions and deployment activities
  • Ensure the Drupal environment is appropriately patched and updated for supported versions and known security issues
  • Identify reoccurring issues and work with Technology & Business partners to remediate

Weekend, after hours, and on-call time may be required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $66,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
