WordPress Developer

Red Clay Creative is looking for a WordPress developer to help us scale our company. We are a web design and development agency that was started in 2018. We currently work with several part-time developers but are now in need of someone that can take the lead on development so we can take our projects to the next level. We are fully remote, so we are looking for someone who is an independent worker, an excellent communicator who isn’t afraid to ask questions, and is always looking to learn.

We have a lead designer that creates mockups for the client to review and approve. The design is then handed off to the developer with notes. The Founder/CEO of the company, Troy, started out doing all parts of the business so he has a thorough understanding of each step of the process.

You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development including custom theme and plugin development as well as site integration and security updates. You should have in-depth knowledge of front-end programming languages, a good eye for aesthetics, and strong content management skills. You can create attractive, user-friendly websites that perfectly meet the design and functionality specifications of the client.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $52,000.00 per year
