We are seeking a Windows Developer to support the Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) Program at USCIS.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Participate as a developer on an agile development team of 6-10 people, delivering high quality mission critical applications using modern application frameworks, cloud services, and DevSecOps pipelines.
  • Work with developers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users.
  • Deliver high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code.
  • Work with UI/UX team members [AW1] to develop effective and efficient user experiences for end users.
  • Periodically provide on-call help desk support for production application.
  • Participate in full scrum lifecycle processes including sprint planning, user story estimation, backlog grooming, and demonstration of functionality at sprint reviews.
  • Under general supervision, works from specifications to develop or modify moderately complex software programming applications.
  • Assists with design, coding, benchmark testing, debugging, and documentation of programs, utility programs, position control language, macros, subroutines, and other control modules.
  • Works on most phases of software applications.

The ICAM Program deploys agile development strategies during the development, testing, and Quality Assurance process to provide the highest quality ICAM solutions to its USCIS and other Government business owners.
