Website Developer at ECi Software Solutions

ECI is looking for a talented Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful web development and design.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML5, SCSS and JavaScript and a working knowledge of PHP
• Experience with CraftCMS (Twig/PHP) a plus
• Experience with VueJS a plus
• A solid understanding of web applications including security, session management, GIT, CLI, and local dev environments
• Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization and writing Schema
• Diagnosing issues with code and creative problem-solving skills
• Skills to manage multiple projects and tasks and meet deadlines
• Knowledge and experience of working in an Agile/Scrum dev process
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and master diverse web technologies

Overview:

ECI is looking for a talented Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful web development and design. They should also have superior user interface development skills and will be responsible for coding and implementation of innovative web designs. The successful candidate will be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts. They will be able to transform designs into beautiful, intuitive, and functional pages and sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write efficient and testable code by using best software development practices
• Create website layouts and user interfaces using HTML, SCSS, PHP, Twig and JavaScript
• Integrate data from various back-end databases and services
• Refine specifications and requirements from the needs of various departments and stakeholders
• Create and maintain software documentation and training/procedure documents
• Responsibility for maintaining, expanding and scaling websites
• Responsibility for migrating other sites from WordPress, Joomla or other CMS’ to CraftCMS
• Stay up to date on new technologies, trends and best practices and applying them to our process
• Cooperate and work with designers to match visuals and design comps
• Maintain the brand by adhering to a web design style guide
• Test, debug and maintain coding practices put in place by the lead web developer

Requirements:
