Essential Qualifications

Required Experience and Education

  • Five or moreyears of experience in managing all aspects of a website from server hosting, cloud-based file storage, page development, and web development
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technology field
  • Experience with popular web scripting technologies such as HTML, CSS, XML, API development, SQL, and JavaScript
  • Experience with DNS management
  • Adobe Creative Suite, ASP.NET, PHP, integration scripting, and cloud-based or virtual hosting experience
  • Proficient with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process
  • Proficient with managing cloud-based file storage (AWS experience preferred)
  • Ability to troubleshoot a variety of technical issues related to website deployments
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; communicate clearly and effectively
  • Self-motivated problem solving
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Professional remote work environment in which to conduct videoconferences and phone calls
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 5% by plane or automobile
  • Driver’s License required to be kept current and in effect as a condition of employment
  • Employee is regularly required to walk, sit, use hands and fingers, talk and hear


Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Participate in development and maintenance of the ACSI external and internal sites.
  • Train and support content managers who create and maintain department-specific content and landing pages
  • Participate in development and maintenance of the ACSI external and internal sites.
  • Integrate data from back-end databases using various programming and scripting languages
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team and other departmental staff to enhance the ACSI website and our digital image
  • Gather feedback from users, design, marketing, and technical staff on site development needs
  • Conceptualize long-term web-development needs; plan and manage related projects
  • Provide web site metrics to key staff and project managers
  • Monitor site traffic and help ensure cloud-based server efficiency
  • Ensure user accessibility to the sites and to shared file services
  • Monitor, report, and track resolution of website issues with website hosting providers
  • Monitor website accessibility and implement recommendations and requirements for WCAG AA compliance, Section 508, and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
  • Stay current on emerging technologies and trends and apply them to operations and activities based on ACSI’s needs
  • Establish and guide technical standards for ACSI websites
  • Manage the Content Management System (CMS)
  • All other duties as assigned

Compensation and Benefits

Starting Salary Range: $79,000 - $92,000 annually; based on work experience, education, training, knowledge, skills, and internal and external equity.
