Your Qualifications

  • 3+ years web development experience
  • In-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP
  • Skilled in the following: WordPress, SEO (Basic), ASP. Net, JavaScript, and Adobe PS
  • Highly organized, move fast yet accurately, and has attention to details
  • Follows through on commitments, easy to talk to, and has decent work ethic
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills

Position Overview

The Cloudsquare Web Developer is responsible for the coding, building, and maintaining the Cloudsquare Website. A high-quality website is essential to a consulting business, as it will be the primary way of representing ourselves to potential clients/customers. Without a high-quality, well-performing website, we cannot grow as a company. We are looking for a Website Developer who can build a site properly, with excellent design and UI, and functions well on the backend according to modern SEO and website best practices.

You will report to the Director of Marketing.

Your Mission

Built a high-quality website, essential to a consulting business, the site must be built properly, with excellent design and UI, and functional well on the backend according to modern SEO and website best practices

Your Goals

  • Create all new webpages within 7 days of receiving request
  • Make any small site modifications within 4 days of receiving request
  • Keep all code and content transparent. The copyright belongs to Cloudsquare and thus needs to be always accessible to the CS Team

Your Responsibilities

  • Create, update, and manage the Cloudsquare Website
  • Responsible for the coding, building and maintaining the Cloudsquare Website
  • Create all new webpages within 7 days of receiving request
  • Make any small site modifications within 4 days of receiving request
  • Manage and monitor essential site functionality, including plugins, URLS, page errors, updates, links, page load speed, site structure etc.
  • Proactively recommend any style, design or structure updates based on website best practices
  • Communicate any unrealistic requests, AND suggest new deadlines
  • Manage DNS records, website backups, and any other functional backend items
  • Build and maintain a system of content blocks to streamline the page building process
  • Maintain good and open communication with the Marketing team
  • Responds quickly to requests
  • Maintaining website functionality and best practices
  • Keeping website optimized for user interactions
