Web Designer at Wise Digital Partners

The Web Designer will be responsible for designing website mockups, custom graphics, brand identities, sourcing high quality/appropriate imagery for a variety of project needs and general asset management.

Skills / Qualifications

• 2-3 years agency experience

• A portfolio demonstrating your creative visual design skills

• Advanced Figma skills

• Experience designing website design mockups for desktop & mobile

• Familiar with mobile and responsive website design best practices

• Understanding of components (as it pertains to web design)

• Basic understanding of HTML & CSS (no coding required)

• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator

• Ability to design within the parameters of an existing brand and help elevate it through creative visual design

• Strong graphic design chops – projects will rely on creating engaging brand assets to bring wireframes to life – creativity and visual design is a leading attribute we are looking for!

• Please note this is a production focused role. Applicants should have the ability to juggle multiple projects concurrently and deliver work in a timely manner.

We are an experienced and hard-working remote team, operating across 8 states currently.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a full-time Web Designer who can assist with client projects that span a wide range of verticals (see examples here). The Web Designer will be responsible for designing website mockups, custom graphics, brand identities, sourcing high quality/appropriate imagery for a variety of project needs and general asset management. Expert knowledge of all these areas is not necessary, but we expect a general understanding of each. If you’re down to grow in your craft while helping some great companies, we’d love to connect with you!

What You’ll Do

• Website Design: create pixel perfect website design mockups (desktop & mobile) in Figma

• Content Creation: help source imagery and create graphics for websites, blog posts, newsletters, social media, ad campaigns, etc.

• Iconography: create and/or source iconography for website projects

• Style Guides: document website styles for developers outlining typography and color systems along with interactive UI elements such as buttons, links, tabs etc.

• Asset Management: size, name, export, optimize and organize assets for a variety of client and company projects

• You are able to present your work and explain your design decisions

• You are comfortable receiving feedback

• You can work within the constraints of a project scope – you know when to push the boundaries and when to embrace simplicity to meet deadlines & budgets

• You are a creative, professional, and eager to learn new things

• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow directions

• Strong organizational skills

• Ability to juggle multiple projects at once

• Strong communication skills

• Must be a self starter. This is a remote position so ability to work independently is required
