Web Application Developer at BLAIZE

This role requires strong coding skills, a history of working within an Agile product delivery team, a strong understanding of best practice coding standards, knowledge of the intricacies of desktop JS software, cloud-based SaaS products, and excellent problem-solving skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Deep understanding of web application architecture and design patterns
• Will have 8 years or more total experience, with 5 years or more using React as well as some level of expertise in Redux and Typescript
• Strong general JavaScript and CSS skills, including ES6+
• Ability to lead within your areas of responsibility, with an affinity for finding and solving problems
• Having experience with Cypress and unit testing frameworks, and/or being a team lead or mentor in a prior role would be a plus. An additional plus would include having some backend or full-stack experience (not mandatory).
• Experience with Electron.js, SVG and/or WebRTC is a plus
• Experience with graphing and/or visualization libraries is a plus (D3 or others)
• Build tools (any one of Webpack, Gulp, etc.)
• Linting tools (any one of ESLint, TSLint, Prettier, etc.)
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Experience debugging on platforms that only provide console logs
• Experience with functional programming
• Experience deploying to Linux
• Tools: Git, Jira, Jenkins

SUMMARY

RESPONSIBILITIES

Participate in the development of ML-powered interfaces for AI tools for non-coding users who want to use ML in their daily professional life

Collaborate with a dedicated team of AI experts while thriving on innovation and new ideas

SALARY RANGE

$152,475 - $190,594 yearly (location depending)
