  • Working knowledge of UX design principles
  • User interface design
  • Proficient in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Webflow proficiency is plus but not required
  • Experience with user testing and usability analysis
  • Quick turnaround

  • Detail-oriented, focused, and motivated
  • Communicative (over-communicative) and responsible

UX/UI DesignerThe Job Overview

Our company exclusively supports design work for Hagerty and we are seeking a user experience designer to us support our efforts. Hagerty is an automotive enthusiast brand and the world’s largest membership organization for car lovers everywhere. We are also the world’s largest insurer of sports cars. We’re publically traded as HGTY. Your primary role will be to create visually delightful and easy-to-use digital products in a fast-paced environment. The products will vary from complex applications to small and mighty static sites. 

Responsibilities

Below are some of the responsibilities the UX/UI designer is expected to assume: 

  • Creating user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, and user feedback
  • Develop personas, scenarios, and user stories
  • Work with stakeholders to identify requirements
  • Creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and mockups
  • Design for accessibility standards
  • Ensure products are tested with customers and validated against business goals
  • Translating requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns, and attractive user interfaces
  • Designing UI elements such as input controls, navigational components, and informational components
  • Collaborating effectively with the product, engineering, and management teams
  • Incorporating customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design in order to enhance user experience
