UX/UI Developer at LifeScale Analytics

 We have an opportunity for a UI/UX Developer, the candidate will provide remote support but must reside in the United States. Candidates will have to be able to work during eastern and/or central time zones business hours. We are seeking a talented UI/UX Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating seamless user experiences through thoughtful design and intuitive user interfaces. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including designers, developers, and product managers to translate user needs into engaging digital experiences.

Applicants responding to this position must be a US Citizen and will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information. Must have lived in the US for the past 5 years.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience
• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
• Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and sitemaps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards
• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to iterate on designs
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness)
• Additional responsibilities as requested by the manager/client

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience as a UX/UI Developer.
• Proven work experience as a UI/UX Developer or similar role
• Portfolio of design projects demonstrating strong UI/UX skills
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping
• Experience using design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
• Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Familiarity with motion design and animation principles

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or related field

Additional Provisions:

• Pass a client mandated clearance or onboarding process which includes drug screening, criminal history check and credit check. Please note that any usage and detection of cannabis with or without a prescription will result in a failed clearance regardless of the legalization under State Laws.
• Candidate must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.
• Cannot have more than 6 months’ travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.)
