UX/UI Designer at Aradena

Requirement 

•      A self-starter which takes the initiative
•      Extensive experience as a UX/UI Designer
•      Great understanding of effective user flows and usability heuristics
•      Experience extracting and adding designs to Figma
•      Portfolio of design projects
•      Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision)
•      Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
•      Fluency in written and spoken English
•      Excellent communication, collaboration and teamwork skills
•      Good time-management skills
•      Ideally, but not essentially, a passion for the medieval fantasy gaming genre

About Us: 

We are a new and rapidly growing blockchain gaming start-up. 

Our company released an NFT collection of Warriors within a Medieval Metaverse on the Ethereum blockchain. This collection of 8000 NFT’s sold out in 13 minutes after we launched. 

We are now using the proceeds of this drop to build a blockchain game which utilises these NFT's in a revolutionary system with our own economy including a native in-game token and play-to-earn functionality which allows players in developing countries to make a far better income from playing our game than their average national income.

About the Role:

Until now, we have outsourced most of our UX/UI, and we are now looking to bring a new team member in house to work with us to make our creative vision a reality by ensuring that 

The role is very diverse, and the individual will be given a lot of creative freedom. However, we will also need the right candidate to be adaptable, self-starting, and take the initiative. They will also have experience with utilising great usability heuristics, creating user flows, and using design software and wireframe tools. They will also ideally have an interest in our field of medieval fantasy gaming. 

Responsibilities will include gathering user requirements, building navigation components, designing graphical elements, creating attractive user interfaces, and thinking through effective user flows.

This is a remote-working role.

Duties and Responsibilities

•      Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers
•      Creating attractive user interfaces
•      Illustrate ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
•      Create user flows and identify unhappy paths and other potential UX issues
•      Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
•      Build page navigation buttons and search fields
•      Develop UI mock-ups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
•      Adapt to user feedback in an iterative manner
•      Create original designs for marketing assets
