UX / UI Developer at Fintricity

We are looking for an UX / UI Developer to take responsibility for developing and cutting edge wallet applications.

What you’ll need:

• Be able to demonstrate advanced knowledge and understanding of the complete Agile software development.
• Have strong Java programming skills (with complete understanding of Object Oriented Programming Paradigm, Design Patterns and frameworks) and be able to take on multiple roles
• Ability to translate customer and business requirements into delightful products.
• Expert UX skills and proven design leadership on successful projects.
• Experience of running customer discovery and research.
• Experience of working with lean UX principles.
• Portfolio demonstrating excellence in digital product design, including wireframes, sitemaps, and user flows.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality work on schedule.
• Deep understanding of and commitment to user-centred design principles and methods.

Additional desirable experience:

• Familiar with MVVM design pattern and experience with RESTFUL services.
• Experience with third party controls such as Telerik or Infragistics controls is a plus.
• You will have the eventual ability to be able to work autonomously on increasingly complex enhancements.
• Basic knowledge in finance and Fixed income products would be ideal for one of our current programmes.

Job Description:

We are looking for an UX / UI Developer to take responsibility for developing and cutting edge wallet applications.

• Working closely with engineers as they build and ship ideas.
• Partnering with engineering, product, and business folks to find elegant but practical solutions to design challenges.
• Providing the thought leadership to develop the right product strategy.
• Driving a user-centred design approach on our largest product whilst still maintaining a focused delivery plan of multiple projects for the products UX team.
• Conducting research on multiple aspects of our customers' experience.
• Owning UX for the apps customer journey from acquisition through to retention.
• Development of new applications through analysis, design, coding, and testing; as well as the daily support and maintenance of existing applications.
• Providing on-call support and functional assistance to end users.
• Identifying the scope of assigned projects, generating solutions to technical issues and providing deliverables in a timely and efficient manner. These efforts will involve:
• Working with analysts, team members, and business users to fully understand requirements and processes.
• Working with other development team members to develop and implement enhancements to applications.
• Investigating and resolving bugs identified after communication directly with end users.
