Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields
• 5+ years as a solutions architect or similar roles
• Strong leadership and client management skills
• Ability to work in a highly cross-functional environment
• Proficient in front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular) and back-end (Node.js, Python, PHP) technologies
• Experience with CMS (WordPress, Drupal) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics and ZOHO CRM
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills

The Role

We're searching for a passionate Freelance Systems Architect to think beyond the ordinary and help innovate new products and services that our clients and their customers will use and love every day.

You'll collaborate closely with our internal teams, including User Experience, Research, Design, Content Strategy, and Production. Your expertise will help guide our internal teams in translating customer needs and pain points into strategic opportunities for innovation.

Responsibilities

• Provide support during the project kickoff phase, assisting in the initial immersion and understanding of the project's scope, goals, and requirements
• Lead the technical discovery process, identifying key technical requirements, constraints, and opportunities to inform the overall system architecture and design
• Support the facilitation of stakeholder interviews to gather detailed requirements, insights, and feedback from various project stakeholders, ensuring their needs are considered in the system design
• Take ownership of the business goal-setting process, working closely with stakeholders to define clear, achievable, and measurable business objectives that will guide the project
• Co-own the creation of the service design blueprint, collaborating with other team members to map out the user journey, touchpoints, and interactions within the system
• Collaborate with the CIO and client to co-own the technical validation of UX and feature concepts, ensuring that proposed solutions are technically feasible and align with the overall system architecture
• Own the feature prioritization process, evaluating and ranking features based on their alignment with business goals, user needs, and technical feasibility
• Take ownership of developing and maintaining the project roadmap, outlining key milestones, deliverables, and timelines to ensure the project stays on track and aligned with strategic objectives
