As a Sr. Software Test Engineer, you will have expertise in writing, building, and maintaining automated Selenium C# with BDD Specflow tests with hands-on experience developing regression and functional test plans!
As a Senior Software Test Engineer, you will:
- Design, build, and maintain Selenium tests using Selenium C# with BDD Specflow or Protractor and Typescript for Angular (or similar).
- Design, maintain, and implement manual and automated test cases for functional, API, load, and end-to-end tests.
- Conduct analysis of performance and load testing results, evaluate the application performance and system capacity and compile performance test reports.
- Perform manual and automation backend testing not limited to ETL.
- Ensure execution against project plans and delivery commitments. Ability to identify data changes, breaks, and errors with granular identification.
- Execute the “Squeeze-the-Juice” testing principle.
- Handle defects to resolution.

About the role
As a Sr. Software Test Engineer, you will have expertise in writing, building, and maintaining automated Selenium C# with BDD Specflow tests with hands-on experience developing regression and functional test plans! You will handle issues/defects, and test execution of web applications. Experience with cross-browser system testing, parallel testing, mobile testing in BrowserStack or Appium is required.
As a Senior Software Test Engineer, you will:
- Design, build, and maintain Selenium tests using Selenium C# with BDD Specflow or Protractor and Typescript for Angular (or similar).
- Design, maintain, and implement manual and automated test cases for functional, API, load, and end-to-end tests.
- Conduct analysis of performance and load testing results, evaluate the application performance and system capacity and compile performance test reports.
- Perform manual and automation backend testing not limited to ETL.
- Ensure execution against project plans and delivery commitments. Ability to identify data changes, breaks, and errors with granular identification.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.
In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York City and Washington the standard base pay range for this role is $118,600.00 - $189,400.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York City and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations.
In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.
Who you are
- Deliver excellence in product quality, and reliability with your high level problem solving, interpersonal communication, project and time management skills.
- Experience with SQL (preferably Oracle) is desired.
- High level understanding of object-oriented concepts, Page Object Model Automation Test Framework, Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD).
- Preferred experience with TeamCity or Jenkins.
- REST API testing (Postman with Chai Assertions or RESTSharp).
- Mobile browser and native apps Testing (Appium and BrowserStack).
- JMeter, InfluxDB, and Grafana.
