Sr. Software Engineer - Android at Under Armour

We need one to Develop and advise on architecture, systems design, roadmaps and project plans as it relates to multi-channel experiences.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITES)

• 3+ years of Android development experience
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience mentoring junior developers
• Experience in building, testing, releasing, and maintaining Android applications in Kotlin and java
• Advocate of clean code and unit testing.
• Fluency with Agile practices
• Education And / Or Experience
• 3+ years of Android development experience

MapMyRun, part of Under Armour Connected Fitness, is looking for an experienced Android mobile developer who wants to build and scale the world’s number one health and fitness app. We’re an agile and fast-paced team with exciting opportunities always on the horizon. This position plays a critical role in the direction and success of MapMyRun and its mobile platform.

In this role, you will...

• Participate in the full SDLC (Agile), including: development, estimation, planning, and design sessions for the MapMy family of Android applications.
• Serve as an Android technical expert on a team of Android engineers.
• Develop and advise on architecture, systems design, roadmaps and project plans as it relates to multi-channel experiences.
• Act as a driving force for constantly improving performance, scalability, extensibility, reliability, availability and usability.
• Participate in the development of a technology roadmap that aligns / supports the global business strategy
