The Sr. Software Engineer will partner in an agile team environment to design, develop, code, test and debug new software or significant enhancements to existing software of moderate complexity.

What We Look For in a Candidate

• At least 3 to 4 years of development experience in JavaScript with strong in-depth programming skills in JavaScript server side and client side (ECMAScript 5 and ECMAScript 6)
• Experience/knowledge in B2C and B2B platforms like salesforce commerce cloud
• Experience in SFRA
• Experience with front-end development technologies (HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery, etc.)
• Experience with NodeJS/Express JS etc.
• Experience in developing unit tests/code coverage etc.
• Experience in using API’s (SOAP/REST)
• Experience with practices like CI/CD, TDD etc.
• Experience and comfort working with virtual teams across time zones.

Preferred:

• UI/UX knowledge/experience
• Experience with integrating eCommerce stores with external payment gateways and other third-party eCommerce service providers
• Knowledge in B2C and B2B platforms like salesforce commerce cloud
• GitHub knowledge
• Cloud database knowledge

The Role

The Sr. Software Engineer will partner in an agile team environment to design, develop, code, test and debug new software or significant enhancements to existing software of moderate complexity. Develop solutions across many disciplines and be responsible for producing and explaining solutions in the form of documented system requirements.

The Main Responsibilities

• Partners in an Agile Scrum team environment to be able to design, develop, code, test, debug and support in production new software or significant enhancements to existing software
• Works closely with business partners and technical staff to create technical solutions that meet business and technical requirements
• Collaborates with product developers in an agile team to define and implement effective and efficient automated tests
• Documents own work to promote transparency and reuse
• Builds production-quality enterprise-grade systems that achieve target SLAs for scalability, reliability, and performance on an agreed upon schedule
• Actively participates in code-review process
• Prioritizes and handles multiple concurrent projects and efforts
• Demonstrates accountability for successful completion of assignments and tasks
