Sr. Full Stack Developer at Cognosante, LLC

We need one to Develop, deploy, and support source code for UX and back-end containerized, cloud-based solutions within an Agile delivery team using DevSecOps best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 8 years of experience with JavaScript, Java EE, Bootstrap, C#, JQuery, React (or other similar UI frameworks), and strong, demonstrable Web application development using persistent database storage
• 5 years of experience in software development for high-volume enterprise systems.
• 3 years of demonstrable experience in API and integration development, using frameworks and technologies such as Apache Camel, ActiveMQ, Kafka, Quarkus, and 3Scale
• Experience with using open-source technologies in a high-volume distributed environment
• Experience working in a DevSecOps-oriented culture that prioritizes continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)
• Must be a self-starter, proactive and effective communicator, and team collaborator focused on accountability and quality results
• Must be able to achieve a moderate (Tier 2) VA position of trust
• Experience working in the Federal Government

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the Veteran's Administration (VA)
• Active clearance for Public Trust Position
• 3 years of experience working with cloud-native containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes, RedHat OpenShift)
• HealthShare Health Connect HL7 Interface Specialist Certification
• InterSystems IRIS Core Solutions Developer Specialist Certification
• AWS and/or Azure Solution Architect or similar certifications
• Experience with 508 Compliance (Web Accessibility) development and implementation

Job Description

Cognosante is seeking a Full Stack Web Developer with diverse experience in software development projects. The Full Stack Developer serves as a key member of the software development team within an Agile Release Train. Responsibilities include writing code to address specified requirements within user stories, participation in daily scrum meetings, testing code, recommendations for improved code sets, sprint backlog refinement, and sprint planning.

Compensation

$110,609.43 - $182,506.63

The pay range for this job is determined by various factors, including but not necessarily limited to location, responsibilities of the job, and alignment with market data. When determining a salary for this role, the following factors may will be taken into consideration - contract-specific affordability, education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience.
