Sr. Frontend Developer at Community Brands
We are seeking a Senior Frontend Developer (Remote) to join our growing team!
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
A Day in the Life
- Work with product managers, development team, and business stakeholders to understand and define requirements in terms of epics and user stories
- Make large scale architectural decisions in a collaborative environment
- Design and implement solutions for user stories on time and with high quality
- Write automated tests for all work
- Actively participate in scrum meetings such as standup, planning, review and retrospective
- Mentor team members in web development technologies and best practices
- Aid support by responding quickly to help solve escalated support issues
- On-call coverage one weekend night per month during spring and fall
- 1 to 2 years of experience making architectural decisions based on functional and non-functional requirements.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent teamwork skills
- At least 8 years of professional software development experience
- Expert-level proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and JQuery
- Proficiency with Java-based web technologies (JSPs, Java EE/Spring) or similar ecosystem
- Proficiency with a web application framework/library such as React or Vue
- Experience developing REST web services
- Solid understanding of Responsive Web Design, Accessibility, Web Performance and API Integration
- An eye for good design

The ideal candidate will have full-stack development experience with expert-level proficiency in frontend web development. Our agile development process is designed to help our software developers succeed in writing elegant code and creating automated tests that validate requirements and avoid regression.
