Sr. Front-End Engineer at MixMode

We are looking for a talented Senior Front-end Engineer who excels at solving problems and collaborating with the team.

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience as a front-end developer or similar role
• Keen interest in open source and learning new technologies
• Understanding of how to build performant, decoupled, testable, maintainable code
• Enjoyment of sharing knowledge with teammates, and working collaboratively when you need help
• The ability to write components in vanilla JavaScript, but the intelligence to leverage existing libraries when it makes sense
• You’ll be working on a client side app built in React with the help of tools and libs like Vite, React Query, Zustand, Styled Components / Tailwind and others, utilizing both REST and GraphQL endpoints, so familiarity with some or all of those is helpful
• Experience working with d3.js or similar data visualization libraries
• Some industry experience with public cloud offerings (e.g., AWS, GAE, Azure)
• Understanding of typical web application, SOA and micro-services patterns.
• Knowledge of open source libraries, tools and frameworks (e.g. for logging, wiring, testing, building)
• Ability and willingness to learn new programming languages, frameworks and paradigms

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Senior Front-end Engineer who excels at solving problems and collaborating with the team. You will contribute to the core of MixMode, surfacing intuitive experiences inside our platform to create a seamless experience. You are a results-oriented engineer who is comfortable with higher levels of ambiguity. You will own code all the way through to production and verify it’s solving the right problem for the customer. Additionally, you will understand the reasoning behind the key product and design decisions and contribute good solutions to implementation and architecture discussions. You will tackle complex challenges, apply architectural standards and start using them on new projects. Ultimately, you execute outcomes well, inspire others and use complex enterprise applications. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and contribute to features/initiatives building web application ReactJS UIs written in JavaScript & Typescript
• Write high quality code, and automated tests to validate your code’s correctness
• Keep up to date on the latest tools, frameworks, and libraries
• Suggest process and tooling improvements to advance the developer experience for yourself and your team
• Collaborate with fellow Front-end Engineers, Platform Engineers, Product Managers, and UX Designers
• Continually learn about the ever-evolving challenges and complexities of the cybersecurity industry
• Solve difficult problems, and have fun doing it
