Sr. Front End Engineer at Avantage Entertainment

Avantage Entertainment is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who will design and implement multiple web applications based on ReactJS (and related) technologies.

Must Have

• 5+ years overall experience in software development
• 3+ Years of experience with Typescript, ReactJS, Redux, Bootstrap, Storybook and related frameworks
• 3+ Years of experience with Jest, Mocha, Jasmine, CucumberJS, TypeSpec or equivalent BDD/TDD frameworks
• Knowledge of performance testing tools including React Testing Library and Jest + Enzyme
• Proficient with HTML5, CSS3, WebRTC, Javascript
• A solid understanding of RESTful & GraphQL API requests and authentication protocols
• In-depth knowledge on fundamental React principles, such as React components, hooks, and the React lifecycle
• Excellent communication and time management skills

Highly Preferred

• 1+ Years of lead developer experience
• 2+ Years of experience developing Kafka based applications
• Experience building video streaming applications
• Experience building iGaming application

About the Role

Avantage Entertainment is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who will design and implement multiple web applications based on ReactJS (and related) technologies. S/He will be working directly with the solution architects, product team, lead developers, and designers.

The ideal candidate is expected to be experienced in web applications using micro-frontend patterns. This person brings his/her strong modern front-end development expertise and delivers world-class software. S/He will also be developing prototypes, spikes and contributing high quality technical designs and production code. S/He will be a good team player helping with peer-reviewing technical designs, code reviews and supporting operations.

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Design and develop software components as planned in the sprint
• Provide peer feedback with team’s PRs, technical design reviews
• Deliver modular code with high test coverage
• Participate and contribute to team sprint activities and commitments
• Partner with team lead, project manager and architects in aligning with sprint and project deliverables
