Sr. AWS DevOps Engineer at Piper Companies

Piper Companies is looking for a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer for a healthcare data company for a 100% remote opportunity.

Qualifications for the Sr. AWS DevOps Engineer:

• At least 3+ years of industry experience (healthcare -data analytics) utilizing AWS CDK and Python
• Experience scripting against SDK with python/typescript – hit the various API’s provided by AWS
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code - CloudFormation, terraform or, Docker
• Strong background in deployment and configuration at scale in the cloud.
• Experience supporting scalable applications on distributed architectures
• Experience with large scale data management and processing systems such as Hadoop and Spark based solutions
• Management and scaling of traditional RDBMS
• Has a basic understanding of common security and privacy standards such as HIPAA and/or FedRAMP

Responsibilities for the Sr. AWS DevOps Engineer:

Building, deployment, and maintenance of multiple AWS environments

Management of CI/CD processes for internal tools using python or shell

Qualifications for the Sr. AWS DevOps Engineer:

At least 3+ years of industry experience (healthcare -data analytics) utilizing AWS CDK and Python

• Salary up to 170K
• Annual bonus potential
• 100% remote
