We are seeking an Solutions Architect, Junior to support an Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) Program.


RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Participate as a lead developer on an agile development team, delivering high quality mission critical applications using modern application frameworks, cloud services, and DevSecOps pipelines.
  • Act as a senior technical advisor providing technical guidance on systems design, engineering, and operational aspects of the system.
  • Lead discussions with developers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users.
  • Utilize sample data and the IMDE Dev/Test Environments to design, engineer and support installation and configuration of trial versions of software, and DHS ISB and DSB systems to investigate viability and feasibility of proposed solution strategies. The contractor shall use the same sample data and operational use case across all solution strategies to test and compare their performance against IMDE operational requirements.
  • IMDE Solution Strategies: Review IMDE Analysis of Alternatives (AoA), IMDE Functional Requirements, and current DHS SDD systems to develop, update or validate solution strategies. Develop one or more Solution strategies that comprise a hybrid of COTS, GOTS, DHS owned, Component owned solutions.
  • Lead and define IMDE Segment Architecture Development and updates based on operational requirements, latency, throughput, and data quality.
  • Review the technical aspects of IMDE activities, and services. This effort includes understanding functional requirements and making recommendations to develop business models. The contractor shall aid in developing business process modeling.
  • Documents and all business and technology requirements (business rules, performance measures, leading practices, data objects, and technology patterns); providing tools for communication, knowledge retention, and business process analysis.
  • Assist in the determination for revisions to DHS and Component data policies and procedures to ensure business objectives are met.
  • Evaluate software and tools and analyze system and software requirements.
  • Analyze system specifications and translate system requirements to task specifications.
  • Examine current system architecture and recommend emerging solutions resulting in a more effective system.
  • Perform data analysis on contractor provided asset spreadsheet, vet for discrepancies, and perform ETL with system under development.
