Software Testing Engineer at Conduent

We need someone who can:

• Can manage testing on simultaneous projects and meet concurrent deadlines
• Can analyze business requirements and technical specifications for applications to create the corresponding test plans, and test cases.
• Can validate accuracy of planned test effort and agreement of test cases required to confirm valid function.
• Can based on test scenarios, create, track, maintain and execute manual testing of applications.
• Creates, maintains and executes Selenium automation scripts for regression, integration, and functional testing on existing and modified application according to test case specifications.
• Can provide accurate updates of work progress on work items within the Team Foundation Server (TFS) or Azure DevOps.
• Can provide reports to team/manager regarding progress and pass/fail status.
• Updates the Project team on areas of risk based on testing results and highlight failure points or limitations of test approach.
• Interacts with software developers, business analysts during the test cycle to keep team members accurately updated on defects and confirm prioritization for redevelopment and retest efforts.
• Is self-directed, requires little direction to accomplish test tasks across the breadth of the client software applications that exist.
• Is capable of quickly learning proprietary software applications that supports effective QA assessment of functionality during the test cycle.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance in Windows environment
• Minimum 3 years of manual testing
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Web automation using Selenium in Java
• Experience testing Web Services using Postman or other software
• Experience in front-end testing
• Experience in Team Foundation Server (TFS) or Azure DevOps
• Preferred Qualifications For Consideration:
• Agile/ Scrum process experience
• Azure DevOps experience

As an IT Testing Engineer, you'll play an integral role in building a holistic view and roadmap of the company's technology strategy and processes. You will apply technical skills to execute quality assurance testing of planned software releases across software applications that support multiple clients. You will evaluate planned system changes to define valid test cases that should be executed. You will execute test cases to confirm software is functioning to specification. You possess strong analytical skills, with strong manual testing skills and experience with automated testing.
