We need one to Develop a comprehensive and logical test plan for systems using appropriate tools to ensure established standards are utilized.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree with major course work in computer science, MIS, or a related field is required. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for education requirements.

Typical candidate will have 3-5 years of experience with software engineering, system administration, programming, and/or a related field. Certifications and/or educational experience may count towards experience.

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of a modern program language (such as Python, Java, or other related language) and Internet technologies.
• Knowledgeable using node.js
• Knowledgeable using Google Cloud Platform
• Experience using Automated Regression Testing (Building and maintaining automated regression testing suites)
• Experience using Robot Framework

Responsible for testing new or modified software to ensure a level of quality and conformance to requirement and established standards; lead and participate in the identification and creation of complex stress, performance load test; ensure all documentation, equipment, and quality assurance tracking procedures are followed; provide the Quality team with support as well as identifying necessary improvements and enhancements in the process; utilize test tools while developing and promoting advance usage techniques to include (e.g., scripting, defect tracking, reporting, etc.); support the assigned team with complex day to day decision as well as escalating any issue outside their control to management

MAJOR JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Participate in business meetings to identify objectives and develop a system that will meet the company's current and future needs
• Develop a comprehensive and logical test plan for systems using appropriate tools to ensure established standards are utilized
• Research, design, and develop new or enhanced applications, systems, and programs that meet business or performance improvement requirements
• Write design and project requirements which may include both preliminary and firm estimates of system requirements, benefits, personnel, costs, timelines, etc., for review by management
• Test and evaluate system requirements and enhancements, documenting findings for management and recommending solutions
• Monitor and conduct regression testing in entirety to ensure negative impacts do not result once program alterations are completed; participate in end user acceptance testing, ensuring program alterations and changes meet end user requirements
• Code program based on system enhancements, modification requests, or new design specifications
• Continually keep up-to-date on new products, development tools, industry trends, and methodologies for incorporation into system platforms
• Serve as an escalation point for program support after implementation, which may include additional raining, upgrades, or program enhancements.
• Software Quality Assurance Functions - Testing new or modified software to ensure a level of quality and conformance to requirements and established standards while ensuring adherence to departmental policies and procedures
• Employee and Personal Leadership Development - Coach, develop, and mentor subordinates to achieve quality performance while continuing to develop personal management skill necessary to lead staff and handle unique management challenges
• Staff Assistance - Provide assistance to assigned co-workers ensuring adherence to departmental policies and procedures
• Project Coordination - Coordinate, prioritize, and participate in activities associated with completing assigned projects or project task(s)
• Team Interfaces - Establish and maintain a professional relationship with team members and department contacts
