Software QA Engineer at OneMain Financial

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our growing Digital team. You'll work with our design, product, and engineering teams to develop and maintain QA processes for our web applications.

Skills or experience we want you to have:

• 6+ years of hands-on Quality Assurance experience with 3+ years in automation testing
• Experience developing automation across multiple platforms (mobile - iOS, Android and web applications)
• Proficient in writing scripts with one or more automation testing frameworks (Appium, webdriver.io, Ruby/Capybara, etc)
• Experience with CI/CD concept and tools such as CircleCI, Jenkins, Docker
• Experience with at least one testing framework Cucumber/Rspec/TestNG
• Experience with RESTFUL API Testing using Postman, Jmeter or SOAP UI
• Experience in fast moving agile environment

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience working in Financial Services industry
• Experience working on Ruby on Rails

What we will want you to do:

• Write repeatable, maintainable, scalable, and high-performance automation scripts using BDD/TDD framework which can be used in testing and production environment
• Maximize automation and minimize manual testing by utilizing modern software development best practices and cutting-edge testing frameworks.
• Possess a 'Shift-Left' QA mentality where Quality is shared and owned at all SDLC stages.
• Research, recommend, and implement tools for test automation.
• Optimize & improve our existing automation scripts and code coverage.
• Set up Jenkins and other automated scheduled jobs.
• Perform functional and automation test on REST API services
