Software QA Engineer at Milestone Systems, Inc.

As part of the Custom Development team, you will be responsible for delivering to our customers turn-key software solutions based on our Video Surveillance Platform SDK. You will be an integral part of the software development cycle of these solutions.

Your Experience

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 3 years' of experience in creating test strategies, using test methodologies and principles
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Minimum 1 year of experience writing test automation using C#, Appium WinApp driver
• Creating or updating automation frameworks
• Hands-on experience running automated testing suites
• Experience doing manual exploratory tests
• Outstanding debugging of software and network issues
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
• Experience with performance testing is a plus
• Solid knowledge of SQL and networking basics
• Azure DevOps/Test Manager experience preferred
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Good problem-solving skills and analytical approach
• Communicate with internal teams (e.g. developers, sales and technical support). Good command of English language

• This position will join our high performing Custom Development team and will report to the Manager of Custom Development and IT. This is a remote position, but occasional travel to our Americas Headquarters in Portland, OR may be required.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• Help us design and test cutting edge, data-driven video software solutions
• Contribute to ensuring that we build testable software
• Define and execute test plans and test cases
• Manually perform Unit, System and White/Black box testing
• Write test automation scripts in C#/.Net
• Be an active member in an agile team, contributing and collaborating with other team members and stakeholders
• Collaborate across teams with other teams to communicate solutions and help in debugging
