Software QA Engineer 2 at IQVIA

The QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the platform is developed and evolved to our quality standards by working with our engineering and product teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• Two (2) or more years related experience in quality assurance and testing
• Working knowledge of SQL for testing purposes
• Strong work history in QA and delivery management
• Proficiency in breaking down software issues into understandable bugs that can be reproduced, root caused, and fixed
• Excellent written communication skills with engineers and product managers
• Some experience writing QA automation scripts/tests for regression testing
• Experience operating within an agile development process

Preferred:

• 1+ years of experience writing automated test scripts
• Knowledge of the healthcare industry
• Knowledge of digital media buying and/or hands-on experience with programmatic buying platforms
• Knowledge of Python
• Bachelor’s degree or higher

Description

The QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the platform is developed and evolved to our quality standards by working with our engineering and product teams. This individual will work closely with product managers and engineers to test platform features and evolve the company product lifecycle to build in quality at each phase.

Essential Job Functions:

• Review user interfaces for consistency and functionality
• Identify any potential problems that users might encounter
• Perform manual testing on new features
• Identify, isolate, and track bugs throughout testing
• Write automated tests to incorporate into our regression suite
• Innovate testing practices / processes
• Research new tools, technologies, and testing methodologies
