As a Software QA Analyst, you must have:

• 2-4 years of current and directly related IT quality assurance experience
• Current technical certification or recent training in Information Technology or directly related field
• Enhanced knowledge of IT quality assurance governance processes and procedures
• Enhanced knowledge of various types of testing
• Excellent verbal, written and graphical communication skills

Ideally, you will also have:

• Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or directly related field.
• Experience with web and mobile app testing
• Experience with bug tracking tools
• Understanding of call platform
• Experience with database validation
• Familiarity/experience with various methodologies such as Agile

Description

As a Software QA Analyst you take pride in your work and know that the effort you put into testing helps the team deliver top quality work to give production the highest chance of success. You work independently and collaboratively throughout the deliverables. You will write and execute test cases to deliver overall quality, write and test bugs, and help the team with documentation and test case updates. You will be testing any of the following: Front End Applications (e.g. mobile and Web), Call Platform and more. You will balance your daily tasks with working on the top priority project work first. At CyraCom, your work makes a difference for people around the US each day, as you work with a team of diverse and passionate professionals to contribute to our mission: providing greater access to people who need language support. This is a permanently remote role.

As a Software QA Analyst you will:

• Work closely and collaboratively with your QA Team members
• Work closely with your product development team to ensure all testing requirements are met with accuracy and completed timely
• Escalate as needed – environment or testing issues, delivery concerns, etc
• Write test cases/checklists for new development, and maintain/update existing test cases
• Thoroughly test all stories, log detailed bugs and retest to ensure accuracy
• Assist the team with updating documentation
• Thoroughly understand our product lines and understand impact of any changes
• Follow best practices and work within Quality Assurance and the SDLC methodology
• Bring suggestions and offer up ideas to improve the overall quality of the team
• Assist with individual and team growth through training sessions and informal conversations, and may include some mentoring
• Be a subject matter expert for your area of expertise
• Enjoy working in a team environment while working with and supporting the product development team

This is a permanently remote position and can be based anywhere in the continental US .
