Software Engineer, Senior at Infor

Infor is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join our team that develops, maintains, and enhances the XA application and its framework that is shared with other ERP systems and their components.

Basic Qualifications:

• Full Lifecycle software development working experience, familiarity with web servers, web GUI, and Web APIs.
• Experience with enterprise level Java development, HTML 5, XML, IBM i and DB/2 for i, ILE RPG/CL, model driven architectures and code generators
• Experience in software development methodologies
• Prior experience working in a role that required multi-tasking

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, or related field preferred.
• Prior experience with the proprietary Infor Development Framework (IDF)
• Ability to work in current technical environments and with collaborative tools (Jira, Wiki, ..)
• Job Location: US Remote (Alpharetta, GA, Dallas, TX, St. Paul, MN)

Infor is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join our team that develops, maintains, and enhances the XA application and its framework that is shared with other ERP systems and their components. This developer is decisive, action-oriented, learns quickly, independently, and takes ownership of open issues. The work includes a variety of activities ranging from architecting, designing, and developing new features to fixing bugs, creating requirement & design documents to tests.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

• Designing, coding, and debugging software
• Maintain, upgrade and enhance/improve performance of existing software
• Identify and recommend new technologies, industry trends, and best practices, which should be incorporated into the policies & roadmap. Implement their development and initial application use cases
• Work closely with the product team and QA to ensure product is well-tested and updates are properly deployed and troubleshoot issued reported by the customers, support or QA
• Write and maintain design specification documents
• Estimate, prioritize and refine tasks during the Sprint Planning event and provide timely and meaningful feedback during Sprint Retrospective event
• Investigate and develop mitigation for Security Scans
