Software Engineer QA Tester at ConnectPay

We build highly efficient and accurate tax and payment processing software and seek a QA Software Tester to join our growing IT Staff.

Qualifications:

• · Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field
• 2+ years of experience in software QA testing and automated testing tools
• · Experience working with Team Foundation Server
• Experience with bug tracking or help desk ticketing system
• · Strong technical skills including good understanding of software development methodologies and ability to create comprehensive test plans.
• · Able to communicate, cooperate, and participate in team projects while also having the ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
• · Have solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
• · Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products
• · Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
• · Ability to meet scheduled task requirements within assigned deadlines
• · Excellent organizational and communication skills
• · Microsoft Certifications a definite plus
• · Experience writing queries in SQL preferred
• · Mobile testing experience preferred
• · Payroll, Accounting, and/or ACH knowledge a plus

Quality Assurance Software Tester

We build highly efficient and accurate tax and payment processing software and seek a QA Software Tester to join our growing IT Staff. The position supports and tests the enhancements to our Agile Payroll System’s windows, web, web services, and mobile-based business software applications. If you’re highly motivated to develop your skills and knowledge as part of an IT staff striving to produce superior systems, this job is for you. The outstanding candidates must have a solid track record solving technical problems and exceptional communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• · Test (manual and automated) and troubleshoot software programs and components
• · Create reusable and comprehensive test plans.
• · Create automated test scripts
• · Communicate with Operations staff, Development staff, and Business Analysts to identify software bugs and possible causes.
• · Test for supported browser platforms and Microsoft Windows desktop
• · Utilize bug tracking system to clearly document the software errors
• · Learn and research new testing techniques, software, and best practices
• · Follow Agile Payroll Systems’ best practices and suggest enhancements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
