Software Engineer (Microservices) at Piper Companies

We need one to Design, build, deploy new application enhancements and support existing applications and services for our platform and research, debug and fix complex Production environment issues

About you

• 3+ years of object-oriented programming experience using C#, .NET/.NET Core, MVC framework, JavaScript, jQuery, WebAPI, Entity Framework, SQL Server, Git, Agile methodology, Kanban, JIRA issue/user story tracking and agile project management.
• Strong knowledge of Microservices
• Strong knowledge of common software design patterns, and best practices
• Ability to write clean, high quality, performant code with good test coverage

Preferred Experience

• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• MySQL and/or PHP
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks
• Understanding of Identity Server, OAuth2, OpenID Connect

Position Overview

Piper Companies is currently searching for a remote Software Engineer to work as a full-time employee for a leading provider of flexible, co-branded patient financial solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong, hands on experience working with Microservices.

What to expect

• Design, build, deploy new application enhancements and support existing applications and services for our platform and research, debug and fix complex Production environment issues
• Proactive communication with team members, SME, project management for requirements, issues, etc.
• Collaborate on a cross-functional product team to refine requirements, estimate user stories, tickets.
• Review Pull Requests, ensuring engineering standards and best practices are followed

Compensation

$125,000 = $130,000 + Full Benefits (401k Match, Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, Holidays, and much MORE!)
