Software Engineer, iOS at Instagram

We need one to Work closely with our product and design teams to build new and innovative application experiences for the iOS platform

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience
• Experience building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing techniques
• Experience with multithreading programming and mobile memory management

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Objective-C
• Experience with Swift

Description

We're looking for iOS Engineers who are excited about consumer facing problems and are experts at iOS. They know Objective-C and Swift optimally from the ground up and are excited to build features on Instagram to help teens share and express themselves with their friends and family.

Software Engineer, iOS Responsibilities:

• Work closely with our product and design teams to build new and innovative application experiences for the iOS platform
• Implement custom native user interfaces using the latest iOS programming techniques
• Build reusable iOS software components for interfacing with our back-end platforms
• Analyze and optimize UI and infrastructure application code for quality, efficiency, and performance

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

4+ years of Software Engineering experience

Experience building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing techniques

Experience with multithreading programming and mobile memory management

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Objective-C

Experience with Swift
