Description

Rapidly growing AI Software company seeking a Jr Software Engineer with a focus in DevOps functions, or an interest to learn more about those functions. They will work with one of our Lead Software Engineers and Director of Engineering to complete tasks related to managing our infrastructure as well as general engineering tasks on our data pipeline and product.

What you will do:

  • Help manage, monitor and build upon our infrastructure in Google Cloud and other cloud service providers.
  • Be a part of our on-call rotation for responding to incidents with our applications and infrastructure that require immediate attention.
  • Work with other engineers to deploy new services and customers in our infrastructure.
  • Manage testing and deploying of new upgrades of components in our infrastructure, from db versions to entirely new services.
  • Proactively address security concerns across our stack.
  • Contribute to our main application and data pipelines.
  • What you’ll be working with:
  • Stack: Kubernetes, Docker, Python, Javascript/Typescript, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, BigQuery
  • Tooling: Terraform (infrastructure as code), Kustomize (for kubernetes configs), GitHub Actions (enables our GitOps workflow)
  • Hosting: Google Cloud, Elastic Cloud, Mongo Cloud (Atlas)
  • Monitoring: Google Cloud Monitoring and DataDog
