Software Engineer at Talent Table

We need one to Work closely with the EXE team customers to understand design concepts and feature requirements.

Skills:

• Full stack web development experience.
• Experience working with Ruby on Rails and/or REACT.
• Experience working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Strong knowledge of CS fundamentals and code organization best practices.
• A strong sense of customer empathy and desire to influence the product direction.
• 5+ years of experience developing production software.

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience with testing and writing test cases.
• Experience with Jest, Enzyme, and RSpec.
• Experience integrating with external APIs.
• Experience with Docker/ECS/AWS.

Description

• Our client a financial services and digital payments company is seeking a Software Engineer.
• This position is a remote 3-month contract. You must be in the US, no H1B Visa status. Hourly rate + benefits through Talent Table.

• Work closely with the EXE team customers to understand design concepts and feature requirements.
• Develop new features that help to navigate the employee experience and quickly connect with other employees.
• Participate in product definition and road map decisions.
• Integrate our technology with third-party APIs and other Block systems.
• Have the opportunity to explore and build features across the entire technical stack, from the database all the way to the clients.
• Be given opportunities to stretch yourself by learning new technologies and take on bigger responsibilities.
