Software Engineer at Omni Federal

We are a seeking strong Software Engineer to support Omni Federal and our Air Force customer on an exciting DoD wide enterprise service capability.

Required Skills

Position Description (what you will do)

• Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify requirements and solutions –
• Write well-designed, testable code
• Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
• Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
• Document and maintain software functionality
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
• Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback
• Comply with project plans and industry standards - Ensure software is updated with latest features

Requirements:

• 6+ Years of Software Development experience
• Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments
• Plans and leads major technology assignments
• Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success
• Functions as a technical expert across the team and tasks - May be the lead for others
• Experience with the following programming languages: Python, React, Node.JS, Java
• Other modern cloud-native programming languages such as Go

This is an exciting new initiative where we are leveraging open-source software such as Kubernetes and containers, and commercial solutions to instantiate DevSecOps delivery. Candidates must be passionate, energized, and excited to work on modern architectures and solve challenging problems for our clients.
