The Role

Here at Emma, we are looking for a driven software engineer to join our team. The Emma Engineering organization is a group of engineers focused on providing elegant and helpful tooling to aid our customers in their email marketing needs. Our teams have defined boundaries of ownership which allows them the ability to specialize. We feel this specialization empowers building sustainable software that is easy to support and change. This is a Full-Stack Junior Engineering position. For our frontend systems, we use React with supporting libraries, including a proprietary UI toolkit. The rest of our tech stack is Python-driven and AWS-based. Experience in any of these areas is valued. The desire to learn and grow in all of them is required. This position will also involve other types of development within the first 6 months of employment.

• Write code. At our core, we are engineers and enjoy solving problems for our customers. While writing code is key to this position you will be involved in many team conversations as we plan our adventures collaboratively.
• Participate in code reviews and bring fresh perspective to help us all be and do better.
• Learn how Emma provides the best tooling to manage and direct marketing teams.
