Requirement 

  • Programming experience with at least one software programming language.
  • 1+ years of experience in software development
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in design and analysis of algorithms and data structures that will operate at potentially global scale.
  • Proficiency in the DevOps style of deployment
  • Proficiency in developing in a cloud-native environment
  • Knowledge of Application Security principles and how they impact development and deployment of applications.
  • Experience handing off and supporting maintainable code artifacts
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical trials
  • Experience in an agile development environment
  • Experience with Cloud Operational Excellence practices
  • Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
  • Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role

Our team is looking for customer-obsessed Software Engineers to join us and help us continue to raise the bar for what we deliver. The SEAT team within the AWS Professional Services Security and Infrastructure (S&I) team is a critical part of making sure AWS consultants, partners and customers are secure. We are building and operating scalable security automation and tools. Join us and suggest the next big thing to build as we are empowered with defining our roadmap!

This role is for a full-stack with an emphasis towards service design and development. You will work with a team of development engineers and technical program managers in an agile/SCRUM model to develop solutions and services. You will have a broad range of responsibilities from development, testing, deployment and operations as well as sprint planning and execution. You will lead the technical direction for our team and be a trusted source of expertise for our wider organization. You will partner with our consultants and solution architects from around the world to offer global solutions.

The pay range for this position in New York City is $158100 - 213800(yr); however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. The pay range for this position in Colorado is $ 143,700 - 194,400 [year]; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
