Description
Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET C#)
** This is a contract-to-hire opportunity where you'll work with our client for at least six months on a contract basis (both W2 and 1099 options are available) with the option to convert to full-time with the client. This position is fully remote (indefinitely). Candidates must be able to work in the US without sponsorship.**
Emergent Software is looking for a software development engineer in test (SDET) who is a smart, passionate, and curious problem solver to develop in C# as part of an overall testing automation process. A qualified candidate is a software developer with experience writing test scripts, unit tests, and integration tests in C# and using Selenium or other test automation platforms that work with C#. This 100% remote position is for self-starters with good communication skills, work ethic, and the ability to participate on agile software development teams.
SDET Primary Duties
- Develop test scripts, unit tests, and integration tests in C#.
- Create test plans, test cases and other testing documentation.
- Develop & execute test automation processes using Selenium or other automated testing platforms that work with C#.
- Analyze custom software for opportunities to use testing automation.
- Collaborate with software engineers and other quality analysts to ensure the delivery of quality custom software.
- Other related duties as assigned by your manager.
