Qualifications of the Software Developer (Python):

• 4+ years experience in software development and integration; 3+ years of experience in Python experience
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or Computer Engineer
• Skilled in working with REST APIs, Yang (XSD) and NetConf
• Exposure or openness to learn basic networking concepts (CCNA or CCNP).
• Familiarity with Docker, Linux, Kubernetes, Network Functions (VNF) devices
• Must possess Secret Clearance at minimum; Top Secret is preferred

Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is actively seeking a Software Developer (Python) for a REMOTE position supporting a global networking company. The Software Developer (Python) will work as a part of the delivery team who steers the ongoing service partnership with the client’s government service customer.

Responsibilities of the Software Developer (Python):

• Responsible for attending customer meetings
• Delivers effective consulting services to include software assessments, software strategy, best practices, knowledge transfers, design reviews, proof-of concepts and troubleshooting support
• Primary point of contact for our client’s SDN projects
• Occasional travel is required

Compensation of the Software Developer (Python):

Salary: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour, based on relevant experience
