We need one to Complete development tasks as assigned ensuring that stated requirements are met
You Must Have:
- Understanding of C# and VB.NET, application architecture and object-oriented design
- Experience working with .NET 4.0 framework or higher and the Microsoft technology platform
- Strong Working knowledge of ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET Web Forms development
- Strong experience writing MS SQL Server queries
- Experience working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery
- Strong Working Knowledge of SOAP API and REST API
- Good understanding of input file formats inclusive of XML, JSON, CSV, Fixed Width data file formats etc.
- Attention to detail, excellent organization skills and a sense of urgency
- Able to take direction and accountable to perform and meet the deadline
- Solid analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
- Enjoy working as part of a team
- A willingness to ask questions and support to accelerate your own learning

We Would Also Prefer:
- Experience with Azure
- Experience with Soap UI and Postman, Swagger
- Strong Understanding of TFS
- 10+ years’ experience object-oriented design/development experience using general purpose languages
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or MIS or equivalent experience
- Ability to handle and keep track of a multitude of assignments at one time
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Enjoys working as part of a team
- Solid analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Expertise with Windows development environment
- Proven PDF/Postscript Technology Experience (Parsing, Generating, Manipulating)
- Software design patterns
- Perform as a developer for applications using Microsoft ASP.NET (C#, VB.NET, JavaScript, & SQL Server) which includes design, development, and unit testing

Your Opportunity: Venture Solutions is seeking a Software Developer to join our support team responsible for supporting and enhancing a web-based platform that processes high volumes of end-user interactions. The platform enforces a wide variety of business rules and features a high level of integration with multiple client-provided and third-party systems.
Your Responsibilities:
- Complete development tasks as assigned ensuring that stated requirements are met
- Develop and support front end, middle and back-end business logic
- Code, test and debug new enhancements
- Build applications with TFS
- Expert Knowledge of Visual Studio 2022
- Follow defined work-flow processes and coding standards
- Work with other Team personnel to complete and verify unit testing
- Provide code-level documentation as required
- Support the QA and Customer support teams
- Performs testing for developed applications.
- Learn and maintain legacy systems and custom applications
- Clearly communicate verbally and in written form – articulating complex thoughts and ideas in small or large group settings
- Work closely with Customer Service and Production to assist with print issues.
- Ensures the operating efficiency of existing application systems. Maintains records for the documentation of systems development and revisions.
- Maintains, fixes and enhances existing software applications to adhere to designs supporting internal business requirements and external customers
- Creates test plans and unit tests and executes those for applications
- Write documentation in code and in issue tracking systems that supports other team members
- Integrate software components and third-party programs
- Produce clean, efficient code based on coding standards
- Follow safe data handling practices and processes, secure coding practices and quality guidelines and procedures
- Communicates status to technical lead or manager
