Required Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field
• 5+ years' experience
• Experience of Server-Side web-development
• Application development using Node.js JavaScript, C#, Ruby and or VB.NET.
• Experience deploying and maintaining cloud based web applications and data services (for example in Azure, AWS)
• Experience with cloud based data storage, SQL databases, SQL Server, IBM Maximo
• Source Code Management (SCM) using Git, BitBucket, Confluence, Jira

Desirable Experience

• Experience with Autodesk Forge web-platform, SDKs and API
• Experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Power BI, Dataverse, Power Automate, Tableau, dashboard design and development,
• Experience with CAD data, Construction design and engineering data
• Experience working with Digital Twin platforms and models

Description:

Parsons is currently hiring an experienced Software Developer with a focus on research, innovation and solving mission critical challenges.

We need a Developer who is versatile, displays leadership qualities and is enthusiastic to tackle new challenges across the full stack as we continue to push forward. In this role you will work directly in an operations organization on a small, tightknit development team. You'll interface directly with expert analysts to design and develop tools to codify knowledge and help achieve maximal effect.

Candidates in the Austin, TX area preferred but open to the right candidate anywhere in the US.

The application is an Autodesk Forge Viewer Application with customizations / extensions built using the Node.js JavaScript runtime environment. Autodesk Forge has a Software Development Kit (SDK) for Node.js. This allows the Node.js script to access the Autodesk Forge Application Programming Interface (API) to use in-built functions of Autodesk software. It is a Forge Viewer App with customizations made via the Node.js script to add additional tools and widgets (called “Modules”) to the application. These Modules reach out to external data sources such as Power BI, Maximo, etc.. to populate dashboard views.

Autodesk Forge has SDKs for Node.js, and also C#, Ruby and VB.NET scripting languages.

These scripts are server side automation scripts that interact with the Forge Viewer and the underlying Autodesk software.

This position pays a minimum annual salary of $92,200.00 and a maximum annual salary of $161,400.00.
