Software Developer at Mintel

We are looking for Software Developers to join our data ingestion and enrichment teams.

Description

We are looking for Software Developers to join our data ingestion and enrichment teams. These teams build systems to reliably capture and land data in our Data Lake, transform this to store it within our Data Warehouse, then automatically enrich it or provide tools for our colleagues to manually refine the data ahead of its presentation to clients.

This role has the option of sitting in our US headquarters office in Chicago or working remotely in the United States (in all states aside from Delaware, Iowa, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania and West Virginia ) as long as the individual has eligible working rights in the US. Interviews and onboarding are currently being conducted virtually.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Join a diverse, high-functioning agile team
• Develop key features for our data applications and data processing platform
• Produce consistent, high quality code by following industry best practices and company standards
• Design new data pipelines, ingestion, and enhancement processes
• Review requirements and specifications, developing and implementing tests for quality and performance assurance
• Be responsible for the quality of the data infrastructure while focusing on continuous improvement and automation
