We are hiring a Software Developer for a remote opportunity in the DC/MD/VA area.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer or Information Science preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of software development experience in Java
  • 1+ year of experience in Hibernate, Spring Boot, and MicroServices
  • Working knowledge of data structures, databases and SQL

Position Details:

  • Clearance: Ability to Obtain a Public Trust
  • US Citizenship or Authorization to work in US required
  • Travel: < 10% (CONUS)

Description

We are hiring a Software Developer for a remote opportunity in the DC/MD/VA area.

Responsibilities:

  • Be an integral part of a scrum team participating in the full software development lifecycle including requirements, design, development, QA, and implementation
  • Perform application development and troubleshooting
  • Understand and apply quality techniques and practices (unit testing, test automation, continuous integration)
  • Participate in peer code reviews
  • Contribute to technical design documentation
  • Contribute to daily stand-up meetings and sprint retrospectives
