Compensation Range: $115,000 - 130,000 per year

Our client is looking for a Senior Web Developer for a direct-hire position within their creative department. In this role you will develop new agency and client projects and help maintain existing projects.

The ideal candidate is capable of working independently on complex projects, as well as collaborating with other developers and UX designers.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all projects are thoroughly tested for quality and accuracy prior to handing off for review and/or rollout.
• Effectively follow implementation plans crafted by the digital planning team while also willing to make suggestions and provide feedback when necessary.
• Promote code quality standards, techniques and expectations with development and user experience teams.
• Collaborate effectively with digital designers and strategy team to make optimal decisions regarding development efforts.
• Respond to questions, assignments or other communication within a reasonable amount of time and in a professional manner.
• Proactively communicate updates to team, manage expectations, and ask questions when needed.
• Balance workload to complete assigned tasks on time, including communication with development manager to manage over or under resourced situations.
• Adhere to estimated time for assigned projects and pro-actively communicate potential issues with digital team members throughout all project phases.
• Take an active role in promoting, contributing to and implementing internal technology standards, procedures and other development best practices.
• Contribute to planning, research and estimating efforts on assigned projects.
• Assist and mentor development peers (or other coders) in a productive and friendly manner.
• Communicate well with other team members, especially those on the Digital Strategy and User Experience teams.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with closest peers on the design and development teams.
