The Senior Software Developer is expected to be an expert in T-SQL and data interfaces and proficient in .Net development.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be able to read and write basic CRUD operations and complex stored procedures containing business logic in T-SQL. Must be able to develop in Visual Studio 2019 or later using C#/.Net.
• Must be able to design and modify reports using report tools.
• Understand SQL indexing and performance-enhancing techniques in stored procedures, views, and functions.
• Understand database creation, configuration, and normalization.
• Experience with Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) of data from disparate systems using batch commands on delimited files (CSV, TAB, etc.), T-SQL, and SSIS.
• Strong written and oral communication skills to interact with our team and customers.
• Excellent time management, particularly the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in line with business objectives.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team with shared objectives and on their initiative.
• 5 – 10 years of T-SQL experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to understand business rules from the customer’s perspective.
• General accounting knowledge, such as general ledger, AP/AR, including knowledge of the sub-ledger activity and how it posts to the general ledger for accrual and cash basis accounting.
• Strong research & reconciliation skills.
• Experience with Azure DevOps source control (git)
• 1 - 2 years of traditional professional service experience.
• Experience in the agriculture industry is a plus

Aeros provides software for agriculture, specifically specializing in the protein industries of egg layers, broilers, and turkey producers. Our customers range from 5th-generation family farms to the world’s largest integrated egg producer.

Our tools range from back-office functions such as accounting, financials, work orders, inventory, order through cash, procurement through payables, and specialty applications for the farms to handle flock accounting, feed schedules, and egg projections.

Aeros, part of the Cultura family, has an immediate opening for a Software Developer. We are a 100% remote working company.
