Qualifications & Skills

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in backend software development, preferably in the financial technology or trading domain
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
• Demonstrated experience with trading platform integrations
• Strong understanding of FIX API and other relevant trading protocols
• Experience with trading automation tools and risk management systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a small team
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong mathematical skills, with the ability to understand and implement complex mathematical models
• Experience in deploying and maintaining full solutions, including infrastructure setup and configuration

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience with additional trading platforms, such as cTrader or DXTrade
• Knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure, preferably AWS
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools, such as Scrum and Jira

Desired Technical Skills

• In-depth knowledge of trading platform infrastructure, including FIX API and other relevant protocols
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining trading automation tools
• Strong understanding of risk management concepts and tools, including margin requirements, leverage, and order types
• Experience with database systems, such as SQL or NoSQL, and data integration methods
• Familiarity with networking protocols, infrastructure, and security best practices in the context of trading platforms and financial services
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements in the financial services industry, particularly those relevant to Prop Firms and trading platforms
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and industry trends
• Deep understanding of complex mathematical models and their implementation in trading algorithms and automated trading systems
• Experience in deploying full solutions, including infrastructure setup, configuration, and ongoing maintenance

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. With expertise in trading platform integrations, including MT4 and MT5 gateways, risk management, and trading automation, the successful candidate will collaborate with various teams to execute strategic projects. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with a passion for creating high-quality, performant web experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial technology and a deep understanding of trading platform infrastructure, including FIX API and other relevant protocols.

Responsibilities

Summary

The Senior Backend Software Engineer will be responsible for the seamless integration of various trading platforms, including MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5, into our platform, enabling real-time data retrieval and efficient risk management. The candidate will also contribute to the development of trading automation tools, such as copy trading and reverse trading, using FIX API and other relevant protocols. They will work closely with other members of the engineering team to ensure a robust and scalable architecture for our platform.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement trading platform integrations, ensuring efficient real-time data retrieval for our platform users
• Collaborate with other engineers and product managers to create and optimize risk management features and tools for the platform
• Maintain and improve the platform's architecture to ensure scalability, performance, and security
• Ensure the platform adheres to relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to platform integrations and trading automation tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth and efficient development process
• Continuously research and stay updated on the latest trends in financial technology, trading platforms, and risk management tools
