Senior React Software Engineer at Republic

We are looking for a Senior Front End Software Engineer to play an integral part in building and scaling our revolutionary investment platform.

• 5+ years of experience as a professional Front End Software Engineer working with Typescript / React / NextJS
• Experience supporting a web application product in Production environments
• Production experience with GraphQL
• You have experience working as a part of a team with Product, Project Managers, stakeholders, designers, Q/A, and other Engineers.

We are looking for a Senior Front End Software Engineer to play an integral part in building and scaling our revolutionary investment platform.

What you’ll do

• Propose and build products from scratch as well as support existing products used by over 1 million active users
• Evaluate technical proposals for new features and new technologies
• Communicate with other engineering pods to support all client side needs
• Improve site speed, security, stability and SEO performance
• Work with a team of globally distributed developers
• Review PRs to ensure code quality
• Create and evaluate tickets to support product/new feature builds
• Contribute to the refactor of portions of our ruby application over to a react front end
• Ultimately, take ownership of the front-end tech stack
• Collaborate with a smart team in a fast-paced environment across dozens of services and products in the fintech space
